I just love that smile that he is wearing in his picture. Carroll was so well loved by all of his classmates and we will truly miss him at our luncheons, our karaoke parties and at our class reunions. I'm sure God said 'well done thou good and faithful servant'. He always had a smile on his face and a kind word for all of us. May the Lord shine His light on each one of your family members during this time of grief and sadness and may you always hold on to the good memories.

Pat, if people speak of me half as affectionately at my passing as they have your wonderful husband, it will be a life well lived!....Patsy, ''The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.'' ~Num.6:24-26~

My deepest sympathy to your family. I've known Carroll since 6th grade when he entered Dinsmore Elementary School, Mrs. Varnadoe's class...always quiet, always smiling. Going from Dinsmore to big city school, Paxon, was long rides on the school bus...Carroll always took a window seat. Shall always remember his kindness! I know he will watch over your family from heaven. Prayers to you all.

Pat, Mel, Jay and grandchildren. I know your heart is breaking from your loss. Mine is too and he will truly be missed. I have so many memories of our time spent together visiting with each other. He was a great man, husband, father and friend to all who knew him. He loved unconditionally and never turned his back on anyone. I know he is walking those golden streets admiring the beauty of Heaven with his loved ones. I love each of you and am praying for you during this heart wrenching time. He is at peace and is at home with his Heavenly Father with a new healthy body!

Prayers and sincere thought for the Dyal family. Carroll was a school friend that I will miss deeply. We sang together at parties and reunions, and he was so enjoyable to laugh and visit with. God Bless.

Dear Sweet Pat: To say I was shocked to see this name in the death notices is putting it mildly. We've been friends since we were little girls and as we grew up and moved on with our lives, from the moment I saw you two together everything became crystal clear. This man was your destiny and that was proven over and again throughout the years you spent together. Just know how blessed you and your family were to have him and look forward to when you will reunite. In the meantime bask in the glory of the beautiful legacy he left you in your children and grandchildren. We wish you God Speed and Peace. Love you! Shirley and George

Though I never met this man i felt as if I knew him from his loving daughter Melanie always posting updates about him. My husbands family is also from Almaden, Ga. And those who have left us are buried at the same cemetery where Mr. Carroll will be laid to rest. Melanie I lift you and your whole family up in prayer for the Lord to cover you with his blanket of peace during this difficult time. Rely on the Lord for strength. Love you.
