Ronald Pickett Obituary

Ronald Clarence Pickett, age 84 of Baldwin passed away Sunday, December 20, 2020 at the Alice and T, O’Neal Douglas Center for Caring at Baptist Medical Center. Ronald was born on December 23, 1935 to the late Mr. James and Helen (Patterson) Pickett in Jacksonville. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He would go on to work for many years at the Jacksonville Shipyards. In his free time, Ronald enjoyed spending time with family and friends, but most importantly, his grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his son: James (Liza) Pickett of Richmond, Texas; daughter-in-law: Barbara Pickett of Baldwin; a multitude of grandchildren; as well as other extended family members.

Memorialization will be by cremation and he will be laid to the rest at Jacksonville National Cemetery at a later date.
