Melinda Jean (Sweat) Griffis Crawmer

Melinda Jean (Sweat) Griffis Crawmer, 59, of Newberry, passed away on January 11, 2020. She was born in Macclenny, where she lived most of her life before moving to Newberry. She loved Grace Baptist Church of Baldwin.  She was preceded in death by her fathers, Frank Sweat and Frank Griffis.  Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Paul Crawmer; 2 sons, Mitchell Crawmer and Devin Crawmer; 1 daughter, Kasie Crawmer; mother, Bonnie Griffis; 6 sisters, Donna Kirby, Robin Baker, Frankye Helbig, Sandy Parker, Renee Jacobs and Crystal Matthews, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at Grace Baptist Church, 479 Center Street, North, Baldwin with Pastor Dewayne Jowers officiating. Interment will follow in Macendonia Cemetery, Macclenny, FL.
