Mary Elouise Geiger Meeks

Mary Elouise Geiger Meeks, 85, of Jacksonville, passed away on December 25, 2019. She was a member of Oak Hill Church of the Nazarene in Jacksonville. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Marybeth Ferrera. Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Herman Meeks; son, Mark Meeks; daughter, Karen Meeks Summers and her husband, Jim; son-in-law, Tony Ferrera; 4 sisters, Betty, Ruby, Bonnie and Gloria; 3 grandchildren, Ashleigh, Michelle & Michael and numerous great-grandchildren and other family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Monday, December 30, 2019 at Sherwood Chapel at New Beginnings Christian Center, 7020 Ramona Blvd., Jacksonville with a luncheon to follow at the church.  Pastor J.R. Deetz, Pastor Tracy Tucker and Pastor Howard Harris will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
