Lamoya Monnell Granger Johnson, age 42, of Middleburg, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021, at St. Vincents Hospital. She was born in Newark, New Jersey, on April 9, 1979, to Rasheed Peacock and Tereasa McNair. Lamoya worked several years in the medical field as a certified nursing assistant, sharing love and smiles. She enjoyed playing pool, attending Potters House Church, and playing with her nephews and niece outside in her spare time. When around family and friends, she always brought joy and laughter.
She is survived by her father: Rasheed Peacock; mother: Tereasa McNair; husband: Marcus Johnson; son: Amir Johnson; brothers: Khaasid (Carmen) Peacock, Duane Thomas, and Jamal Barkley; sisters: Gamia (AKA Booby), and Tamirrah Thompson; nephews: Jannan Granger, Jurian Fennell, and Jahleel Fennell along with other extended family members and friends.
The memorial service for Lamoya will be held at Giddens-Reed Funeral Home, 270 US Highway 301 North Baldwin, FL 32234 Saturday, September 18, 2021, starting at 2:00 PM.
