Johnnie Hodges

Johnnie Hodges, age 85 of Jacksonville passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at his home with  his loved ones by his side. Johnnie was born on January 05, 1936 to the late Mr. Ode Hodges and Mrs. Myrtle Lee Davis in Macclenny, FL. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He also work for many years at A.J. Johns Construction as Foreman. In his free time, Johnnie enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He also enjoyed fishing, watching Wicked Tuna on TV, Hunting and Football. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife:  Martha Hodges, Brothers:  J.C. Hodges and Randy Hodges.

He is survived by his wife: Delta Hodges,  sons: Johnny (Patti) Hodges, Steven (Shelia) Hodges and Stepson Kevin (Lesly) Dugger, Stepdaughter:  Melissa Dugger, Brother: Gene Hodges, Sisters:  Sara Gamble, Mary (Donnie) Williams, Grandchildren:  John Hodges, Chris Hodges, Stephine  Hodges and Kelly Hodges.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 30, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. with Funeral Service following at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Giddens-Reed Funeral Home.

Interment will take place at Brandy Branch Cemetery, 1906 Brandy Branch Church Pl, Bryceville, FL 32009
