Jeffrey Scott Bailey

Jeffrey Scott Bailey, 60, of Bryceville, passed away unexpectedly on February 9, 2020. He was a beloved husband, dad and brother. He was born in Columbus, Ohio, formerly resided in Louisville, Kentucky and lived in Bryceville for the past ten years. He served in the United States Coast Guard and retired this past October from Jacksonville Fire & Rescue. Mr. Bailey was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Francis Bailey and Lois May Williams Bailey. Survivors include his wife, Jean Bailey; son, J. Jason Bailey; step-son William Fadeley (Treva); step-daughter, Dania Fadeley (Larry Ingber); 2 brothers, David B. Bailey and Timothy W. Bailey (Kirstin); 2 sisters, Cheryl A. Erwin (Rick) and Diana Lynn Cundiff (Dale); 3 nephews, Tyler, Dylan and Jesse; 5 nieces, Amber, Jossette, Erika, Amanda and Shelby along with many other family and friends. The family will receive friends from 3-5 PM Friday afternoon, February 14, 2020 at Giddens-Reed Funeral Home, 270 U.S. Highway 301, North, Baldwin, FL, 904-266-2337 (www.giddensreedfh.com). Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Brandy Branch Baptist Church, 1906 Brandy Branch Church Place, Bryceville, FL with Pastor Deryle Adkison officiating.
