Heidi Nicole (Page) Blair

Heidi Blair, resident of Amelia Island, went home to her Saviour, on October 31, 2018, at the age of 40.    

Heidi was born August 15, 1978 and was raised in Bryceville, Florida. She was a graduate of Baldwin High School. A love for helping others led her to Florida State College Nursing Program where she became a Licensed Practical Nurse. She worked as a Pediatric Home Health Nurse, taking care of the most delicate and precious of God’s children. Oftentimes, her nursing care required her to go to school with her patients and she befriended teachers and students alike. She touched the lives of not only her patients but the many children she came in contact with.

Heidi loved the beach and found peace in the crashing waves and salty air. She moved to Amelia Island in 2007, with her greatest joy, the loves of her life, her two sons, Grant and Gabriel. She worked tirelessly to make sure they always had what they needed and was always their biggest advocate. Her boys were her motivation to courageously fight the rare cancer growing in her body for over two years.

Heidi was a passionate ambassador for Jesus Christ while she walked this Earth. She spread the love and hope of Jesus to all she met. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Fernandina Beach and served faithfully in the AWANA ministry.

Heidi was a loving mother, faithful daughter, loyal sister, doting aunt and uplifting friend. She had a gentle spirit and was an encouragement to her friends and family. Heidi was a selfless giver and radiated kindness. She will be sadly missed by her sons, Grant (17) and Gabriel (16), parents, Earl and Lou Fouraker, siblings, Tiffany (Jason) Reese, Rock (Sabrina) Fouraker, Lacy (Ryan) Van Sickle, and Thomas (Amanda) Fouraker, grandmothers Beula Fouraker and Stella Thornton and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her biological father, Donald Page, grandfathers Gene Fouraker, Loton Page, and Ronald Thornton and grandmother Doris Page.

The viewing for Heidi will be held Sunday, November 4, 2018  from 6-8 p.m., at Giddens Reed Funeral Home at 270 U.S. Highway 301 N, Baldwin, Fl. Her funeral service will be on Monday, November 5, 2018 at 11 a.m. at her home church, First Baptist Church of Fernandina, 1600 S 8th St, Fernandina Beach. Interment will immediately follow at Brandy Branch Cemetery, 1906 Brandy Branch Church Pl, Bryceville, FL.  In lieu of flowers, it was Heidi’s wish for memorial donations be made to Grant and Gabriel to further their education.
