Dorothy Lee Nazworth

Dorothy Lee Nazworth passed away in Jacksonville, FL on April 26th at the age of 88 at
Parkridge Nursing Center in her sleep. She is survived by her four children Deborah
Wachob, Rebekah Woodard (Terry), Mark Nazworth (Beth) and Sharon Martin, along with
9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by
her husband Bill, her parents Mr. and Mrs. Rhodes, her brothers Edwin, Billie Joe, and
sister Carolyn.

As a teenager she became a follower of Christ and was active in various leadership
roles in the church. This was the beginning of her passion for ministry work and
included visitation to hospitals, prisons, nursing homes and singing. An excellent
vocalist with a strong soprano voice, she led the worship services and was a soloist at
Evangel Temple Assembly of God in Jacksonville, FL. She loved the old hymns. She
was on staff there the last several years of her life after Bill passed away and until she
was 75. She worked with her husband Bill in home missions and founded Calvary
Assembly of God in St. Augustine, Fl.

The service will be Monday, May 2nd, with viewing at 11am and funeral at 12pm.
