Charles "Charlie" Leland Westmoreland Jr.

Charles “Charlie” Leland Westmoreland, Jr., 63, passed away on August 27, 2022 surrounded by family. He was born in Quitman, GA on August 17, 1959 to the late Charles Sr. and surviving Montine Westmoreland. He was a devoted Son, Brother, Father, Grandfather (known as Papa), Uncle and Friend.

He believed in hard work and was a long-haul truck driver by trade. He was a storyteller and never knew a stranger. He was a Freemason and member of Lodge No. 27 in Lake City, FL. He loved his Lord, his Country and above all his family. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church.

He is survived by his mother, Montine Westmoreland, and Sister, Sharon Chappell (Mark); his Daughter Christine Johnson and Granddaughter Gracie; all residing in Jacksonville, FL. Charlie had a Niece and Nephew, Savanna and Garrett and beloved lifelong friend, Brenda.

The family will receive friends and loved ones for a visitation on Saturday, September 3 at 11:00 a.m. The chapel service will begin at 12 noon.
