Charles William Moody

Charles William Moody 91 years passed away on January 7, 2022. He was born in Wheeler County on September 6, 1930, to the late William B Moody and Mary Elizabeth (Irvin) Moody. He was predeceased by his sister Libby Monroe. He survived by two daughters Dana Marie Collins (Rev L Jid Collins), Kimberly Gail Hensley (Rick Hensley Sr), also four grandchildren Christina Whitfield, Cynthia Rushing, Rick Hensley Jr, Cyler Collins, plus five great grandchildren. He has three brothers Irvin Moody, Jeff Moody, Marvin Moody (Kathy Moody), one sister Julia Brown, with many nieces and nephews. Charles spent many years with The Florida Times Union as a newspaper carrier in the Baldwin/Whitehouse community, also as an insurance agent. He loved gardening and anything outdoors.

Funeral Arrangements will be held at Giddens-Reed Funeral Home 270 US HWY 301 N Baldwin, Fl 32234 on Saturday January 15, 2022. Family visitation will start at 11:00am to noon, friends and family visitation starts at noon to 1:00 pm. Graveside will follow after the service at Memorial Riverside Park 7242 Normandy Blvd Jacksonville, Fl 32205 at 3:00pm.
