Ollie Sutton Smith, Sr., 74, lifelong resident and native of Jacksonville, passed away March 24, 2019. Mr. Smith retired from Jacksonville Fire & Rescue after 25 years of faithful service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Faye Smith. Survivors include his son, Ollie Sutton Smith, Jr.; step-son Aaron Money; step-daughter, Karen Hall (husband, Johnny Hall); brother, Walton Allen; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Wesconnett Assembly of God, 5829 Blanding Blvd., Jacksonville with Pastor Noel Roberts officiating.
