Madeline Emily Stokes Frost

Madeline Emily Stokes Frost, beloved wife and mother, 85, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 11, 2018. She was a lifelong Baldwin resident and a member of Grace Baptist Church in Baldwin. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman Oscar Stokes and Hi Parshel Crews Stokes and her husband of 58 years, Pastor Harvard Leonard Frost. Survivors include 2 sons, John Harvard Frost (Tammie) and Joseph Calvin Frost (Sharon); 4 daughters, Jacqueline Parshel Rockefeller (Kevin), Jennifer Lauraette Blankenstein (Russ), Joy Madeline Thorpe (Cary) and Jamie Leah Jiannuzzi (Jonathan); 21 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Wilton M. Stokes; sister, Ina Jean Chapman and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Monday, January 15, 2018 at Grace Baptist Church, 479 Center Street, North, Baldwin with Pastor Dewayne Jowers officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 AM Monday until the hour of the service at the church. Interment will follow in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Jacksonville.
