Justin Dorey Strange

Justin Strange, age 32, of St. Augustine, went to be with his Lord and Savior on June 29, 2018 at his home in Orange Park. Justin was born and grew up in St. Augustine, and has lived in Orange Park for the last year. He was a graduate of Pedro Menendez High School, Class of 2004. Justin recently graduated from Kaiser University with an Associate of Science in Physical Therapy.

Justin will be remembered for his bright, beautiful smile and bigger than life personality. He loved fishing and spending time with his family but most of all he loved his son Maddox.

He is survived by his wife, Mikayla, and two month old son, Maddox; parents, James and Brianne Strange; brother, Brendan Strange; Grandparents, Edward and Kathleen Parry and Judy Bobb. His uncles and aunts Steve Parry of Jacksonville, Kevin and Nedra Parry, Ralph and Tina Waldrop of St. Augustine; cousins, Brad and Danielle Waldrop of St. Augustine and Steven Waldrop of Austin, Texas, along with numerous extended family in the St. Augustine area.

The family will hold two events to celebrate Justin. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Giddens-Reed Funeral Home (904-266-2337, www.giddensreedfh.com), 270 U.S. Highway 301, North, Baldwin, FL with Pastor Garry Wiggins officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Sunday afternoon, July 8th, at 1:00 at the St. Augustine Boating Club, 611 Boating Club Rd, St. Augustine, FL 32084.

In lieu of flowers, a contribution to Maddox’s college trust fund may be made to the Maddox Strange Trust Fund account at Vystar Credit Union.
