Julie Tompkins

Julie Renee Tompkins, age 30, who was born on September 15, 1986 was carried home to her Lord and Savior on June 21, 2017.  Survived by her parents, Giles "Tommy" & Brenda Tompkins;  husband, Michael Koonce; brothers, Randy Tompkins and Craig Tompkins (Linda Carrabis); grandmother, Catherine Young;  nieces, Chloe Carrabis, Hannah, Daphne, Sabrina and Leah Tompkins;  nephews,  Jonathan and Greyson Tompkins;  sister, April Coleman along with aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.  We all loved her.  A memorial and celebration of her life will be held on July 8, 2017 at 11:00 AM at First Coast Baptist Church, 7587 Blanding Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32244.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.  In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to: First Coast Baptist Church, AWANA or Donna’s Children’s Ministry, at 7587 Blanding Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32244 or West Jacksonville Baptist Church, Reformers Unanimous Addictions Ministry, 5634 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205.  Arrangements by Giddens-Reed Funeral Home, Baldwin, FL, 904-266-2337 (www.giddensreedfh.com).
