Joseph D. Hobbs

Joseph D. Hobbs, 74, of Jacksonville, passed away on June 26, 2019.  He was born in DeFuniak Springs, FL and lived most of his life in Jacksonville.  Mr. Hobbs was formerly employed by ABF Freight Systems and Publix.  He was also U.S. Air Force Veteran.  Mr. Hobbs was a member of the Teamsters Union and American Legion Post #137.  Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Mary Hobbs; daughter, Tina Hobbs; 3 grandchildren, Zaron, Jadyn & Jasmyn Brown; brother, Bobby J. Hobbs; 2 sisters, Annette Conk & Ginger Kelley along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Private funeral services will be held at a later date.  Arrangements by Giddens-Reed Funeral Home, Baldwin, 904-266-2337 (www.giddensreedfh.com).
