John Joseph Becker

John Joseph Becker, 91, of Jacksonville, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2018.  He was born in Chicago, IL to Charles and Claire Becker on November 12, 1926.  Mr. Becker was the former owner and operator of an advertising agency and served in the U.S. Navy.  He was preceded in death by his mother and father and 3 sisters, Marie Verne, Edna Kekich & Clare Jacobs.  Survivors include his 2 nieces, Pamela M. Basil and Penny Jane Gohring, several great-nephews and his very good friends, Joe Farhat, Vicki Leonard, Russell George, Merrideth Glenn and Robin Kearney.  Memorial services will be held at 5:30 PM Thursday evening, June 28, 2018 in the chapel of Giddens-Reed Funeral Home, 270 U.S. Highway 301, North, Baldwin, FL, 904-266-2337 (www.giddensreedfh.com).
