James "Pop" Nobles

James Samuel "Pop" Nobles, 87, of Jacksonville, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2019.  He was born in Porterdale, GA but resided most of his life in Jacksonville.  Mr. Nobles was a member of the Blue Lodge and served in the United States Air Force.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Daisy.  Survivors include his son, James Nobles; 3 daughters, Hazel Doreen Hendry and her husband, Roland, Mary K. Palumbo and her husband, Robert & Catherine "Cathy" Arnette and her husband, Tony; 9 grandchildren, 19 grandchildren, 5 great-great granchildren and numerous other family and friends.  Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville with military and Masonic honors.  Arrangements by Giddens-Reed Funeral Home, Baldwin, 904-266-2337 (www.giddensreedfh.com).
