George Rodney Wilkinson

George R. Wilkinson (AKA Rodney or Uncle Georgie), 82, of Jacksonville, passed away September 16, 2017. He was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville and retired from the City of Jacksonville and Atlantic Dry Dock. He was preceded in death by a sister, Emily Carroll and a grandson, Scotty Wilkinson, Jr. Survivors include his son, Scott Wilkinson and his wife, Angie; sister, Nellie Nolan; grandchildren, Rhonda Hagan and her husband, Jacob, Ashley & Ruston Rogers; great-grandchildren, Copen Hagen, Madisyn Mead, Olivia Griggs & Brantley Rogers. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Thursday, September 21, 2017 at First Baptist Church, 97 Center Street, South, Baldwin, FL with Pastor Chris Drum officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in Long Branch Cemetery, Clay County, FL.
