Ella Taylor Crawford

Ella Taylor Crawford age 99 peacefully passed away on June 10, 2018 after a long convalescence. She was surrounded by her loving family and gently embraced the loving arms of God. She was born in Baker County, Florida on October 27, 1918.

Mrs. Crawford was preceded in death by her husband Oria Crawford. Affectionately known as “Boogie”, Ella became the Matriarch of five generations of the Crawford family and was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Great-Great-grandmother. Every Sunday and holidays she would prepare a family meal which seemed almost effortless to as many who sat down at her table either expected or unexpected. There was always enough food and an abundance of love flowing from her heart. Ella never even thought about her legacy. She lived by example, and fulfilled her high standard of love and responsibility one day at a time.

She carries with her, in her heart for eternity, her children Raymond Crawford, Alice Stivender, Anne Cox (Richard), Anelia Crawford and numerous family and friends.

Ella Taylor Crawford will have a graveside service at 10:00 am at Taylor Cemetery in Taylor, Florida Tuesday June 12, 2018. Once again her family will come to her table but, this time they will share a feast prepared by God. The family will remember Ella through their own choices of scriptures and poems to eulogize the one person who kept them all together never failing to be their beacon of light, wisdom and love.
