Aaron C. Brown, 79, of Macclenny, passed away unexpectedly on January 8, 2020. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida and was the owner of Aaron C. Brown Construction Company. Mr. Brown was a member of Otis Road Church of God in Jacksonville. He was preceded in death by his parents, B.F. & Gladys Waters Brown; 5 sisters, Esther, Naomi, Ruth, Mary & Jeanette and 3 brothers, Sam, Wallace & B.F. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Sylvia Mobley Brown; 1 son, Frank Brown; 2 daughters, Kimberleigh Cherry and her husband, Glen and Tammy Moore and her husband, Richard; 3 brothers, Charles Taylor, Carl and Randy Brown; 5 sisters, Audrey Landon, Juanell Dyal, Yvonne Pilgrim, Doris Martin and Willene Dobbs; 4 grandsons, Christopher Aaron Cherry and his wife, Diana, Joshua Brown, Richard Moore and his wife, Jessica and Dustin Brown and his wife, Brittany; 6 great-grandchildren, Austin Cherry, Luke Aaron Moore, Mia Moore, Aubrey Cherry, Brave Brown and Titus Moore along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Otis Road Church of God, 801 Otis Road, Jacksonville with interment to follow in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.
