Theresa Alida (Lawrence) Schertell

Mrs. Theresa Alida Schertell passed away January 11, 2018. She was born January 10, 1940 in Birmingham, Alabama. Mrs. Schertell attended Evangel Temple Assembly of God for many years and was a very beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Mrs. Schertell is survived by: her loving husband of  59 years Harold; son Michael Schertell (Julie); daughter Christine Schertell Moon (William); grandchildren Michael Moon, Andrew Moon, Jake Schertell, and Jenna Schertell; great-grandchildren Dakota Strange, Jamie Moon, and Mikaela Moon; and sister Jackie Hartung.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 16, 2018 from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Evangel Temple Assembly of God  5755 Ramona Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32205. Funeral Service will follow 2:00 P.M. at the church with Pastor Garry Wiggins officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Memorial Park.
