Eula J Guthrie

Eula J. Guthrie, 76, of Jacksonville, passed away December 29, 2017 with family members by her side at the home of her daughter.  She was born January 3, 1941 in Baxley, Georgia to her parents, James & Inez Mullis.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister.  Survivors include her daughter, Ruby Jean Knight; 5 grandchildren, Jerry Knight, James Knight & his wife, April, Rebecca Knight (Pat), Victoria Guthrie & Cody Guthrie; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild and  her sister, Ruthie Hannah & her husband, Buddy.  Mrs. Guthrie was deeply loved and cared for by her family.  Memorial services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Old Plank Baptist Church, 8964 Old Plank Road, Jacksonville with Pastor Larry McGinley officiating.  There will be a graveside service at 1 PM Monday, January 8, 2018  at Guthrie Cemetery in Nashville, Georgia.  Arrangements by Giddens-Reed Funeral Home, Baldwin, FL, 904-266-2337 (www.giddensreedfh.com).
