Charles Wesley Butz

Charles W. Butz, 89, of Jacksonville, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2017. Mr. Butz was born in Ohio, but lived in Jacksonville most of his life. He retired from the U.S. Navy after 20 years of service, having served in WW II & Korea. Survivors include his 2 sons, John Butz (Sherrie) & Charles Butz (Leticia); daughter, Alinda Butz; 2 brothers, Roger Butz (Joyce) & David Butz (Jan); sister, Evelyn Neilson; 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Evangel Temple Assembly of God, 5755 Ramona Blvd., Jacksonville with Pastors Garry and Cecil Wiggins officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at Jacksonville Memory Gardens, Orange Park, FL.
