Charlene Bowen Mercer

Charlene B. Mercer, 81, of Middleburg, passed away on August 13, 2017. She was born in Bear Creek, Alabama, was a longtime North Florida resident and was a member of Westside Family Worship Center. Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Willard L. Mercer; 2 sons, Kevin Privett & Michael Mercer; 2 daughters, Brenda Cogburn (Alan) & Karen Kreis (Rob); 2 brothers, Robert Bowen (Linda) & Howard Bowen (Margaret); 11 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends. She was preceded in death by 2 sons, Roger & Rickey Akers. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Westside Family Worship Center, 9717 103rd Street, Jacksonville with Pastor Jimmy Wilder officiating. Interment will follow at Dinsmore Cemetery.
