John H. Mullner, 66, of Jacksonville, passed away on June 4, 2012 at his home in Jacksonville. He was born on January 6, 1946 in Chicago, IL to John M. and Jean (Kozak) Mullner. Mr. Mullner lived in Jacksonville for over 36 years where he owned and retired from Mullner Discount Electronics. John enjoyed racing and drove Number 28, a modified class racecar at Lake City and many other local tracks in the area. John was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served honorably in Vietnam. Mr. Mullner was preceded in death by his father, John M. Mullner. Loving survivors include his mother, Jean; former wife, Deborah Choate; daughters, Victoria Dexter, Julia Dolsen & Tammy Mullner Martin; son, Johnny Mullner and seven grandchildren, Khristopher, Michael, William, Melanie, Karley, Zoe and Luke. He will be missed by many friends and family. A memorial service to celebrate John’s life will be held at Sizemore’s, 932 Bulls Bay Highway, Jacksonville on Thursday, June 7, 2012 from 6-8 PM. Graveside services will be at Jacksonville National Cemetery on Friday, June 8, 2012 at 9:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation in John’s name to a charity of your choice.
